UK flooring retailer Floors-2-Go are thought to be in trouble after staff were called to an unexpected and ‘urgent’ meeting today.
The company has 135 stores throughout the country and it is believed that the business could be close to either entering administration or seeking further funding. The former sounds most likely following news last week that the companies bankers National Australia Bank had appointed restructuring firm Kroll.
A report in the Independent says that ‘a source close to Flooring-2-go’ has suggested that sales for the last week of trading for the company had dropped to £1million, a massive drop of £0.6million down on it’s usual turnover.
