News of some jobs being created is an unusual topic on this site, but online insurance company Esure has announced that it’s expansion in Glasgow will create 500 jobs over the next five years.
Esure has the backing of a Regional Selective Assistance grant worth £1.4million from the Scottish government to help them along their way. The company has it’s largest operation in Glasgow at it’s Equinox office where it already employs over 600 staff.
The insurance company will create 250 jobs over the next eighteen months, with a further 250 before 2014. Esure has been continuing a steady period of sustained growth over the past twelve months, despite the economic crisis and are now looking to recruit new service and claims department staff to fulfill it’s expectations of future business.
