UK Business: Online advertising overtakes TV and traditional media

A report out today from the Internet Advertising Bureau and PriceWaterhouseCoopers says that online advertising has overtaken TV advertising in terms of expenditure, for the first time.
The figures suggest that while online advertising has grown by 4.6% to £1.752bn in the first half of 2009, TV advertising income has fallen by 16.1% to £1.639bn. Advertising [...]

UK Business: Car scrappage scheme extended

Business secretary Peter Mandelson said that the car scrappage scheme would be extended to cover 100,000 more vehicles, but will still end in February 2010 as per the current agreement.
