Stagecoach to run greener buses

Stagecoach Transport group, which operates 7,000 buses across the UK, is to adopt a fuel saving compound across its entire fleet after tests showed that it reduced usage by 4%.

Curry Restaurants facing staff shortages

Since the EU expansion and the granting of employment rights to Eastern Europeans arriving in Britain, stricter regulations have been imposed on workers from Commonwealth countries.
The Bangladesh Caterers Association are saying that there is now a shortage of staff in many of the UK’s curry houses, with  27,500 current vacancies in Bangladeshi run restaurants.

Company closures down in 2007

The number of UK companies applying to be wound up fell by 3% last year the Ministry of Justice reports.
The number of creditors forcing companies to be wound up and individuals being made bankrupt, also fell during last year. A total of 11,791 companies went out of business through insolvency or other problems in England [...]
