The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply have released figures suggesting that factory output in the UK during January 2011 was at its highest since records began in 1992.
According to the report the institutes manufacturing index rose from 58.7 in December 2010 to 62 in January, the twentieth month of expansion in the sector.
